Default Missing thread Missing posts Missing Members

Liz Hilton returned here in the last week under the name of Freya

And a new user popped up at the same time under the name Leothelion

This user claimed that he had met this Freya 6 months ago in Belfast and so it could not be Lizzy as he had met this Swedish love goddess. It is obvious that the two of them were in cahoots together. Now he has turned up again but lo and behold all reference to Freya have been removed from EI.

His posts supporting her claiming to have met her all gone.

This is a clear example of why deleting whole threads is a bad idea the record of this forum is not complete.

    WHY were these threads deleted
    Who deleted them
why not just lock them and leave them so people can go back and hold people to what they said.

Liz Hilton broke the rules by creating a new persona but that is not a reason to delete entire threads.

This place is fast becoming a complete mockery of what a forum should be.

    Thanks John

Its getting ridiculous here I can't see any logical reason why threads are being completely deleted like that. All that has to be done is lock it then no one can keep it going and it will move from the 1st page and fall out of view, but at least there is a record of what people said.

    Hi,

I can tell you when sarah writes "client" it generally means that she is removing the thread because the person who created it or it is mostly about is complaining they want it removed, probably by phone repeatedly or Sarah wouldn't even be doing it.

To be honest we have massive problems with people wanting stuff removed and it is very annoying for us. Especially since the client list scandal, we are getting loads of emails from guys everyday saying "Please completely remove my profile from E-I, all my posts, my reviews" etc. Then when escorts go away it is the same, they want every post they've ever made removed. From our point of view, this takes a lot of time and it also leaves a mess behind because whole threads have to be completely deleted or edited so much that they make no sense.

I'm getting very annoyed about this to be honest. It's causing us so much work and I just don't have the time for it. There seems to be an idea out there that you can create a thread on E-I, but as soon as you want it deleted we have to delete it. In reality many forums don't let you do this - They just say clearly in the rules that they are not removing threads, profiles etc, so don't create them in the first place if you are going to want them deleted next week or whenever. To date I've always tried to delete stuff for people when they've asked, but right now I still haven't even read half my emails and private messages from last week I've so many and so I'm going to have to find some way to cut down the level of work this forum is.

Pat x (Annoyed because she's been working all weekend and she's still way behind on everything. Apologies to all those who I haven't replied to your PM or email yet and to all moderators for not being here enough. I'm really trying to get on top of stuff, and I promise to never take 4 days off again!)

Cal, what's your problem. You wanted Liz off this board and now she's off. The girl, I believe wanted her name and treads removed with her. What's wrong this that. She's gone now, completely gone. Let's move on................

Well in this case the person who created them was a banned user I don't see what responsibility you have to her to remove the threads she started and allow her to pretend like it never happened.

Also more annoyingly a new user that I believe was created to validate Freya as someone other than Liz has had that record removed from the Forum.

can you not just put up a sticky that no more threads deleted don't even ask.

Because it removed the record of you pretending with her that she was someone she clearly wasn't

She was a banned user and i can't see she has any right to ask for anything

Having to delete someones entire posts is alot of work. Especially if it's a banned user they have no right expecting E-I to delete their records. It's just covering up their mess as they broke the rules. I don't think it's necassary to delete any profiles or posts. Who's going to recognise a usename from a list. And also it's messing up threads having to do this. They won't make sense anymore when theres posts deleted.
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.
It could happen to any of us.

We have published phone numbers and Liz has been ringing them all repeatedly, effectively harassing out advertising staff, this is why Sarah removed the content, so she could get on with her job basically

Moving forward, I am looking at putting in place a rule where we will stop removing profiles, posts, threads, reviews etc for users who decide they want these removed. This message board has become way too much work.
