E-I reading habits

I only read a few threads. some, the title tells me not to go in. there are some
contributors here that I do not read, I just scroll down or wait for a thread/poster
that might interest me.

But doc, do you not have to read/check most threads, the title can be very misleading and we could be up to all sorts inside .

I know what you mean but unfortunately so many people here use cryptic titles for their threads — some titles bare no resemblance at all to the threads content!

I log in and click New Posts, I never go directly to a specific forum such as General Chat, I see most threads but probably only go into 50% of them, who started the thread is irrelevant as sometimes the replies are interesting, or I get to tell Gobshite he's a gobshite

Agreed also, i don't read stuff about the law, politics, animals and the ladies talking flith *you's know who you are *

I'd say about a dozen posters make me laugh/interested in a thread.

You know when certain people are about, there will be bitchiness / negativity, i try to avoid those.

I'm here to laugh between bookings & have banter with like-minded folk.

Too true as reading too much stuff on here can leave you absent minded and you then forget your essentials like Hairdryers and the likes
