A few other forums I'm on have a fight thread where folks go hammer and thong at each other without disturbing or going off topic on the other threads.
It works well and allows the folks to get all there frustration out in a dedicated thread without spouting there anger and concerns all over the place and leaving the grown ups to have a proper discussion.
Of course it goes without saying that the fight thread is the most popular thread on the whole boards lol

It works very well hwm, it also allows the mods a chance to get things off there chest with other users and vice versa without them actually modding the fight thread.
It's every man and woman for themselves in that thread and because it's there everyone respects the other threads on the board and keep there differences to within that thread.
