Retirement beckons and not a day too soon me thinks. Why oh why are people looking for alternatives that no one is calling forward as helpful? Ask Amnesty International and maybe they might be doing something in the right direction. *shakes head*

I was watching the tail end of TVAM this morning on TV3 and the comperes felt that legalization for the protection of sex workers was the way to go and criminalizing clients did not protect sex workers at all and the viewers' comments also tended to support Mr. Halligan T.D., who will be interviewed by the show on Monday!

The opposition to the insanity seems to be grown, with John Halligan, PBP, Claire Daly, Mick Wallace and The Greens (their new T.D. has strongly questioned Fitzgerald about it) opposing it. It's a real pity that the rubbish in the Labour Party (though Howlin has criticized the insane FF proposal to confiscate escorts' earnings) and the Socialist Party and The Shinners seem to be gagging for it to be introduced!
