Has the system been re-programmed not to let you reply to escort ads, I tried to answer a post or thread of english rebeccas' wow wow wow, to complement her on the gorgeous pictures on her profile, they are really stunning, but the system wouldn't allow me, I've no problem with this, but I thought it would be nice to give a little positive feedback.

Think it was something to do with escorts bumpin their own threads with adds im not really the best person to ask about these things.

Yes, escort advert threads can no longer be replied to.

Personally I always saw no problem with clients replying to escort advert threads to say nice pictures or ask a question etc, but there have been a lot of complaints about this lately.

It comes down to the fact that a thread gets bumped to the top every time a new reply is added. The majority of escorts seem to feel it unfair that certain escort ad threads are being continually bumped to the top by replies and this shouldn't be allowed as it isn't fair to the ladies who post a thread and their thread is not being continually bumped.

I did feel a bot draconian last night writing out the new advert forum rules, but a lot of ladies have told us they are not extensive enough and not working, so we thought it was time to at least give a fair try to the core ideas many ladies have been calling for, a central point of which is that threads cannot be bumped.

All in all a good move Pat as now its a level playing field which is never a bad thing,its in the ladies hands now to
make the one post a day they are allowed to be as eyecatching and apealling as they can.

I think this is fair,because as u said some ladies adds were buried in some cases after a few minutes
and they had no options to renew them for 24hrs. Also being limited to one section a day is also
good as some ladies came in and blanket bombed the board and were then nearly guarnteed a post
on top especially on the lesser used sections.I think the clients will now be more inclined to read them aswell now because we dont have to wade through endless replies.
The clients still have the option if they see especially nice pics or add etc to compliment the lady
by starting a thread on General chat or Soap Opera

A good idea because at the end of the day, it's selling a product (a smashing product) and the means of selling that product is obviously, very important. I'll leave it to the intellectials on this forum to come up with the formula.
