Default Greens call for a general election

The greens have decided enough is enough and have asked FF to call a general election in january. This is fantastic news, surely the pressure will be too great and they will have to comply with their partners in this sham of a government.Surely the policictial carreers of cowen and his cronies have come to an end.Hopefully this is the dawn of a new era where this country can start to rebulid for a brighter future.....

I know but they couldn't do any worse than the clowns that are there currently. Its time for a complete overall over our entire policitical system. We need the top minds of this country to be running this country not political family dynaisties that are simply voted in by their family connections. We have a very amatuerish view on our policliticians and tds, many are unqualified to be ministers in their chosen fields agriculture education etc.Its time we slashed the majority of juniour ministers, tds as many are glorified councillers happy to pick up massive wages for doing fuck all.

    I agree.
The only problem with an election is that we will end up with politicians in charge.
They are all from the same mold.
They should privatise the whole thing.

Well who is in gov wont make any diff as its hardly going to be a case of them giving ppl more money. Having said that FF and the greens should be punished and punished well at the next general election. Its safe to say the next gov will be a coalition of FG and LAbour with maybe someone else. I would like to see SF in a coalition gov to see how they would perform but we go back to same old bullshit then with Adams saying he wont go in with Lab and Gilmore saying he wont go in with Adams. I dont know if they would have a majority between them but i think a Labour and SF gov could work well.

an election is more money being spent,

The thing about SF is Westie, what ever they say most people will think the opposite. No way are they going to get in. Itll be a Labour and FG government. But at the moment none of them are going to make much difference, We will still be in the same situation as before. At least it will be a change though

I don't think for a min that thy would be giving ppl more money, but I think that a privatly run company, with some healthy competition would be running the show in a more cost efficient way.
