    Default Moss Keane died today

Tributes Paid To Munster Rugby Legend Moss Keane

I remember a strange moment as a kid ,working in an office for the summer. One of my jobs was getting the sandwiches for lunch.Queing up to pay,the light was suddenly blocked out of the shop, turning around I saw this giants sillouette and dangling from one of his huge hands was a squirming little fella. Mossie had ran down the road and caught the thief who had just stolen from the shop moments earlier.Looking at the terrifed face of the lad and the big grin on Mossies face the whole shop just cracked up laughing. He picked a bad day to go robbing
    a thousand kisses deep..

Yeah - I heard a clip of him being interviewed earlier today (probably the same as you heard). I really cracked up laughing at his stories - he seemed a genuinely funny guy.

A true Irish rugby legend and part of the famous Munster side that defeated New Zealand in Thomond Park in 1978...........RIP..........

A f**king legend. I remember watching Mossie at Lansdowne Road trudging laboriously across the England 22 with ball clung firmly to chest and 3 or 4 England players hanging out of him for dear life...............the stadium went f**king wild. R.I.P.
