Love But, Where has the Rum Gone?

    Any Rum drinkers here?
I rarely drink, I don't count the after work glass of wine of course but recently on a brief visit of my favourite place, someone convinced me to try rum. Oh the burn, the burn! I'll stick to Whiskey and wine thanks.
But those of you who do like it, which is your favourite? And why?

Captain Morgan original, can't seem to get it in Ireland anymore, just the Captain Morgan spiced stuff, not the same at all.

Appleton, is smooth if you can get it. Airport duty frees usually have a decent selection.

S'pose I may give it another go if I could get some proper rum rather than Captian Morgans. Used to be Mine and Irish Nikki's end of week drink (when she was around) but....my hippy sense told me it was more full of chemicals than alcohol.

I have never tried the original, but the spiced rum is not real rum IMO.

Never mind the brand, just mix it right...
Ginger beer (not schweppes ale, a real dark ginger-beer) plus some lime juice.
Try it once and you'll never look back.
