    Default Kerry /Dublin rivalry ?

Much is made of the Kerry Dublin rivalry, what rivalry ?
It just dosent add up it just shows the power of media hype
what generally happens is Kerry thump Dublin
Lets look at the stats, they have met 24 times in championship football
kerry 16 wins Dublin 6 wins 2 draws that seems a bit lobsided to me
worse again Dublin have only beaten kerry twice in recent times if u can call the
final of 76 and the semi-final of 77 recent before that u had to go back to 1934
for a Dublin win so really this is all a media thing and in no way is it a great
rivalry because to have that it must be even and nip and tuck all thev way
That said Dublin should win today they are facing a stale Kerry team having
contested the last 5 All irelands and been in sometthing like 10 out of the
last 12 semi-finals,if Dublin had a record like that there would be a newspaper
totally dedicated to them. Now as u can understand being where im from im
not a Kerry supporter (far from it) but being a sports lover u have to admire
them and fairplay they try to play the game as it should be played

Well i think that wasnt much of a rivarly, but what about that for an implosion
from Dublin, second year running totally blown away, no spirit no heart
at least go down fighting. All they could offer was a nasty elbow from
Ciaran Whelan not a great note to finish ure carrer on, although it has
been a feature of his game down through the years
Well i was wrong about Kerry being stale, will be intresting to see can
they keep u the mometoum now like tyrone did last year, cant see
Meath or Mayo stopping them so id say another All-Ireland final for
    them at least
