Thread: Value for Money in Punting

Default Value for Money in Punting

I lived in London for 7yrs - supposedly one of the most expensive cities in the world!
However, Independent Girls there run at about Stg 60 (Eu 70) for 30mins Basic. and around Stg 100 (Eu 120) for the Hour
I think that punters are getting ripped-off in Ireland. The Eu 180-200/hr rate is just unbelievable. I can understand it from when the Euro was worth Stg 65 - about 10yrs ago, but are the Irish Girls not aware there's a recession on here??? It's no wonder that there are so many English Girls touring here in Ireland.

I'd like to hear from both Punters and Girls on this one.....

Republic of Ireland is more expensive than London, Dubln is 14th in the list of most expensive cities in Europe, Central London 37th & Outer London 49th in the stats. The cost of living in the Republic is far higher than the UK, which is why many people go over the border into Northern Ireland to do their shopping & why many UK companies advertise UK in the Republic such as Tescos, Currys etc.

When I worked in London which was years ago, I was charging my hourly rate for half hours.

The cost of living in Ireland did not drop with the recession!
The exchange rates are what keeps changing not the cost of living. It is widely recognised that the costs are higher in Ireland than the UK.
60sterling about three years ago was nearer the double in euro. The girls here have dropped the prices with the recession and offer specials from time to time.
The UK girls are doing the same thing.
Punters keep pushing for us to drop our prices, you drive the good ladies out of the business.
As I have said all along, if you cannot afford a high end service, do not use one!!! Escorts are high end and provide a better standard of service and street girls are great for car jobs.

There is such thing as freedom of choice boys.

what you say is correct the escorts have already dropped there prices and there is nothing wrong with the prices at the moment the problem is if you were to drop your prices from lets say 100euro to 80 people would still complain its too high you can't win with some folk

I totallly disagree with you when you say guys are being ripped off in ireland. I have escorted in london and there are two types of escorts the high market and ordinary. Lets take cherrygirls leading website for escorts you get to have escorts classed as high class charging as high as £300 to 400 an hour in ireland that would be about 450 euros and really dont think guys would be willing to pay that. Also you say there is a lot of English gilrs touring ireland which is true but do you understand that for us to come to ireland we need to first pay for advertising for the website, pay for accomodation not forgetting the flights and top of that outfits, food etc list goes on so if you were on this end you would understand. If iwere probably a resident escort will charge cheaper as i wont need to worry about the above expences but as it stands things are taff for everybody even us the girls are feeling the credit crunch

No-one is putting a gun to anyone's head. If you can't afford it , don't pay for it.
I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. You can't put a price on a top class service but you will count the cost of a piss poor punt.
Value for money is dependent on what you get for it.

It's good to get the feed back on this one, it seems that guys that have punted in the UK may agree with me, whilst those that have only Irish experience see prices coming down.
So... it's obviously somewhere in the middle. If girls have dropped their prices, then I salut you all.
Ladies, I'm not trying to make any enemies here or drive you out of business. Simply, the level of service I have had in Ireland - Thus far - has been below par for the price paid.
I did title this thread as "Value for Money", not "drop your prices".

I have no problem paying for a good punt, but you don't always "get what you pay for" in this game and you can't exactly go to the consumers rights group to argue your case for a refund... after all, if you blow your load, technically she's done her job so you can't really say that you didn't get what you wanted.
