    Default SD's signature

It's still "***Contact details removed***", even though it's been admitted that deleting the old one was a mistake: https://www.escort-ireland.com/board...signature.html
    Shouldn't it be restored?

Sorry to start a new thread for this, but the one above is locked.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

There is no restore sig button. Once its deleted its gone and no record of the wording, the font, colour, size, layout etc. Give the guy a break, he cannot remember the exact lay out to type it back and has said sorry to her, so she can, if wish replace it as she knows what the lay out was.

It's ok... SD is aware of this and I'm sure she'll sort it once she's ready.

The usual way to set up a database for community site like this is with revisions, so that changes can be reversed and so that a record is kept of how each part of the site looked at any point in time. So in other words there should be the equivalent of a restore sig button. Probably it's not accessible via the web interface, but someone at E-I ought to know how to do it.

In all fairness, I shouldn't have deleted the entire signature, but that's my mistake and I'ev apologised for it.

Yes, but that's not what I was asking about. Mistakes happen. I was asking whether this one can be corrected. If the database is set up properly then it should be easy enough to correct, although it might require someone like Pauli who is able to poke around a bit behind the scenes.

Yeah, I know what you're saying, and it's a very valid point. It's something else to discuss in our meetings I think. Thanks for the input.
