Drinking during pregnancy affects the developping fetus...although it is recommended to drink a glass of red wine daily is definetely a no no during pregnancy....but it's everyone's choice...but if you want to have a healthy child you should take care of yourself during pregnancy...there are other things that affect children.why affect them from the womb?

I think drinking and smoking while pregnant is one of the most selfish things anyone can do. I don't care if people disagree with me on that, because it's true. I admire the partners of pregnant women that also give up their vices to support their partner. Women often say, "My body, my choice", and I respect that, but when they are pregnant, it isn't just their bodies that they are deciding for.
