I've sent her and my dad to Rome for the weekend, I've sent her away for a weekend every year since I was 25. What do my brothers and sisters do? Sweet fuck all, maybe a card if she's lucky!!!

I am a mummys girl through and through

I turned up at my flat this evening to find her here cooking to cheer me up after I had such an awful day yesterday. She is a gem.

For mothers day I am buying her a Mulberry Oak. For you boys thats a big expensive handbag lol.

In my country we have mothers day first sunday of may...but completley different like here,just tiny things for mum flower or card but not that much spoil...no mothers day ads in shop windows!

I wont say its better at home,but i feel its similar than valentines day make more n more money

Of course mothers deserve everything!!!

Yes I know what you mean. Things like mothers day are very commercial here they kind of guilt you into it. When I was younger I used to pick flowers etc but I reckon now I can treat her I should. Also she doesn't celebrate birthdays so it's kinda special.
