The 16 billion would filter into the economy, even if tax was not paid....and of course their are all the extras, like hotel accomodation, meals, travel,etc etc. I certainly spent more in Berlin, than I did at Artemis.,,,,,,and that was just for a weekend.

Well that's the point , tax on food , on hotel , on travel etc and they the money spent on items pays people's wages and taxes

Its time that our Tourist Bored took note. Last time I left Dublin Airport they were doing a survey, asking travellers,,,,,,,but they werent interested in why I was travelling, and just put down entertainment or some such crap.

Its time our political parties suggested a mega brothel for, County Leitrim, and it would do wonders for the county, especially with all dem sheep
