Are Mods doing a Good Job?

Since arriving back from the weekend I was very sad to read posts that clearly targeted me as a Mod on a power trip. Now I said I was sorry but people seem to think that isn't enough. I also noticed that none of the four posters I appologized to had the grace to respond. Thanks.

Also the "What's going on thread" seems to be full of anti-mod thoughts and discussion. Now I'm all for free speech and I fully support love and peace here on E-I. After all it is one of my Commanments. I fully intend on spreading love and affection to all.

So I've decided to post this public poll on what people have to say with regards to the Mods job. Are we doing a good job? Is there areas we could improve on? Do we simply suck balls?

So please give your honest thoughts and remember please be constructive. I will not respond to bitchy crap. That is beneath anyone with even half a brain so don't bother.

Only one comment to make on modding. Whenever mods censor, move, delete or lock a post or thread, they should give a short simple reason for the action e.g. which rule had been broken. Then more people might understand what's going on, leading to less attacks on the mods and it might achieve some consistancy across the boards.

Its not an ego thing NB3. I would of simply liked you and the others to recognise my PUBLIC appology. I have no issue with saying sorry when I'm wrong. I was wrong and I think its correct for anyone to say sorry when in the wrong. I was rather upset that the the four of you (actually there's only three of you as two of the profiles are the same person) jumped on me for what I did. It was very brave of you guys to do so. It was also very brave of you to just say in the chatroom "yeah its OK whatever". Thanks a bunch for showing balls. Especially for the little favours I've done you with regards to things posted about you from Lizzy (personal info and the like). I helped you out there very quickly. Next time your balls are swinging you two-faced shit.

I've no problem doing that. I do it all the time. I've only deleted 4 maybe 5 posts/threads anyway.

Is it you want me to repeat my self for all to see. How were you doing me a favour ....is it not the moderators job to remove private information.
