Thread: Question about STD/STI

  1. Default Question about STD/STI

Apologies for bringing this over discussed subject and being a little naive.

I am a independent single man with a job and everything I need except a girl. I have never been to any escorts ever. But lately I am thinking of this option.

The problem is STIs. Condoms can provide only partial protection because viruses like HSV1 and 2 or HPV can spread through just skin to skin contact. So how to people take this risk??????????????????????????????????????????
By people I mean the clients as well as the escorts themselves.

A little bit ott. Skin to skin contact isn't going to put you at risk of HSV1 and 2 or HPV, do you ever shake hands with anyone for example?
Personally, I never avail of OWO or reverse oral for exactly the reasons that concern you, i.e. it's not safe (most around here seem to be happy with this risk though).
My advice to you would be this, if you're interested in going for an escort appointment, by all means do so. If as would seem to be the case, that you are particularly paranoid about catching an STI, then seek out escorts who don't offer OWO and don't perform oral on the escort yourself. Following these simple steps, it's highly highly improbable that you'll catch anything, and you'll certainly enjoy yourself.
    Have fun

No This is a genuine personal question. I come from a developing country so never had any sex education. Wikipedia is pretty much my guide. I am even thinking of going to a professional to take guidance about this. Its already late for me. So please help if you can. No hidden agenda here.

So yer familiar with the concept of risk exposure. If yer havin sex that is an exposure to risk. If you can't tolerate that then don't be going around having sex.

I'm old school chief. Ya rock the main event wearing a condom and beyond that there is nowt much out there that penicillin or a derivative thereof can't sort out.

Seriously, all the prissy questions and anxiety. Why can't folks just enjoy themselves??

but what about viruses like HSV1 and 2 , they can spread through parts which condom doesnt cover. Also HSV is not curable. The virsu remains in the body no matter what. And worst is the carrier may not know of it at all. On the other hand it can also cause severe problems if it gets to nervous system.

I presume you know all this and more. So am searching for a workaround from your experiences.

for someone who admits not having any education about sex you seem well versed on the 'possible worst case' medical aspects-- something not right here ???

A workaround??? Here's an idea, try celibacy. Then you've nothing to worry about unless the Mrs has been playing away.
