Ratted negative reviews serve a purpose. They often show that someone is or was out to get the escort. That's something to keep in mind when looking at other negative reviews of the escort, especially if they are around a similar time, or in the same county. Those reviews may be fake as well, even though there is not enough evidence to rat them.
The "Did you have an appointment?" idea is promising, but there are some problems. Many ladies don't log in often (or ever) and check their email very infrequently. Also, an escort will usually be able to tell whether an appointment went well or badly, so she may deny that an appointment took place if she is expecting a bad review from it.
One thing we have to keep in mind is that proven escort involvement in fake reviews is very rare. Unless the escort is a complete idiot.
Point taken, but I think a note on the top of her overall review page would be a good idea too. "This escort has been the subject of verified fake reviews that try to harm her reputation".
Maybe if escorts were made aware of the fact that they would not get reviews if they did not log on might encourage them to do so. Sure they have to log on each time they change their details etc., so if they got a popup like the one you get for a PM then they might go into their "bookings" section and agree/disagree with any question posed.
Also, seeing as you can't write a review without being a board member maybe you could actually go into an "escorts calendar" and make bookings. These are then confirmed by the girl before the appointment, so that way both parties know they have an arrangement to meet on "Thursday 14th @ 12pm" (Obviously a phone call to follow up will have to happen). Then when a review is submitted the mod can see that there was an appointment without having to contact the escort in question. I know this would have to be worked out correctly as there are large holes in what I propose but it's a thought for the management.
There was a few of them recently if I seem to recall :D
I agree that reviews shouldn't be deleted. I regard reviews as essential and NEVER visit an escort who has opted out of the system. I know its a difficult area.
I also think that where a client has given multiple reviews, the earlier should not be deleted. If someone is abusing the system, that is a different matter.
Yes Lucy your right before I registered I had some dodgy experiences but in saying that I now know how the system works, that's only after being duped I'm very selective now but not everyone knows the game especially newcomers to the site, I don't mean to be patronising to anyone either Beacouse you can do things on the spur of the moment also!!!! It's that urge if you know what I mean So it's a gray area do you or don't you?
I would tend to go along with that..........fake negatives could not be the escort's own work and should therefore be removed as the negative sign may be enough to deter some clients. Fake positives should remain as ratted reviews because they may tell you a lot about the escort, particularly where it is proven that she or her friends were involved in posting them.
reviews are pretty helpful to new people choosing an escort.most would read the reply from the escort before taking a negative review as gospel.i think a written response from moderator along with rat symbol would also help
Not for one moment would I take the job of a mod on this site - you would need the wisdom of Job, a deaf ear and a neck like a jockeys b..........
As a client who uses the review system as an aid to selecting an escort I have to admit that in my subconcious even a ratted review is seen by me as a negative.
