I have bought and assembled Ikea furniture in the past. The one thing I like about it is that it is sturdy and robust compared to the likes of the old MFI flat pack stuff.
Personally I would not be very happy if it was easy to disassemble because if it was then it would probably not be as sturdy as it is. If I need to move the furniture then I move it fully assembled, as I would with any other piece of furniture I have.
Timber based products are not normally designed to be taken apart and reassembled multiple times as they often rely on an interference fit to retain their rigidity.
