The same report indicates that prevalence among men who have sex with men in Kenya is three times higher than the general adult population, which is already the fourth highest in the world.
It also indicates that prevalence among sex workers in Kenya is more than three times higher than the general population.
You don't have to be racist (I am not) to think that this trip is a not a great opportunity for some safe TS fun.
Try find in these bars Black Diamond, Gypsy, Casablanca
I don't think it is racist to suggest that if you go to Africa and want to meet people who live in high risk areas to be careful. It is not the Africans, faults that they have high HIV cases, but they do. I would never criticise someone for being HIV positive, but I really don't want to become HIV positive myself. That is one of the reasons I visit professionals; the other being that I fancy the fuck out of them!
None, but the girls I have been with are always careful and use protection. I always reckon that someone who knows they are infected would not bother. I guess it comes down to intuition or something like that.
Intuition? Really? Give me tips please :)
Anyway if you know how to protect yourself, no matter which country you go or whoever you fuck with, you will be safe. Am i wrong?
I don't think it is that simple. For me the rule is to be totally careful and watch the other person and be sure that she is also careful. I suspect that if someone knows he or she is infected then there is no need for he or she to be that careful. As I say it is not foolproof. Ultimately you just have to trust your intuition. It is not judgemental. Any of us could become infected. You don't blame someone for getting cancer or any other illness. Never the less, with the lifestyle we have chosen we all need to be a little more cautious than others!
So how would you feel if you knew of an escort who would be prepared to give bareback, but not receive it? Would you 1. Avoid at all costs 2. Take extra care when meeting. 3. go for it, and worry about it afterwards, or 4. See it as a thrill?
