London
I spent four years working in London as a younger man.
big city! my experience was the city centre is world class, exciting
impressive. but suburbia was fairly dull. i found the people a bit
paranoid and defensive, but thats what you can expect in a city
that holds @ 11 million people by day and 7 million overnight.
were you there, what was your experience?

I go to London at least 3 times a month and I can sum it up:
It's an AMAZING City...........Wouldnt like to live there though !
Could be my small-town roots coming through but I stand by it ;)
-
Lived just outside London for about six years and travelled into the centre daily to work. An amazing place and found the people I met incredibly friendly and helpful. :)

Been there a few times over the last few years love the place.
-
As a Born and Bred Londoner there is no where else I would want to live.
-
Only been there on holidays found the people to be very welcoming , and the city great .: doc

loved it loved the place
went over there to work ,loved the place , would highly recommend it for any post grad , the freedom was mind blowing , loved every minute

I was there for a long weekend a few years back had a great time I don't think I would like too live there well I am a Dub born and breed there is nowhere like my own city.
-
I lived there for nearly 10 years as a young man, and I had a great time. But I didn't want to raise my children there, and now that I am no longer young, I wouldn't even go there at all. It is too big/busy/dirty/noisy/expensive (like any big city) for my old bones.
countryside is the place for me now.

I spent a good few years working in London and actually only returned to Dublin early last year. I loved the place and spent many years living in and around the east end. When I first moved over it was a real culture shock as the place is just so huge but over the years I made so many brilliant friends from all around the world that happened to be living in London for some time.
