Sitting here at 8.33 am and looking out at the rain just belting down, is summer really over, I cannot believe that all I have to look forward to is weeks of rain as we slip slowly into dark, wet days and long nights...........................

no I read in the paper yesterday Met Eireann maintains the summer is not over & theres plenty of sunny days to come over the next few weeks the weather is to pick up tomorrow think positive...

Today is just a one off. It looks like a typical Irish summer today with heavy persistant rain and wind. It was a lovely warm day yesterday. And it's going to pick up again tomorrow. No summer isn't over it's only about to begin :)

Ah thank you all , 12.33 pm now and at least the rain has stopped, so doggie and I are hitting ballybunion beach for a good brisk walk ....................
