Wake Alexa up, put on some music and dance around the kitchen. Works for me.

Just a few suggestions ...
(i) visit the book of kells in trinity college
(ii) feed the ducks in Stephen's Green
(iii) take a day trip to Glendalough or Newgrange
(iv) visit the Botanical Gardens
(v) take a course - most bookshops have a little book of night courses (a lot of which are available during the day) covering everything form cooking, languages, massage, beauty therapies, carpentry, etc. Bound to find something of interest.
(vi) when touring try to find time to see things of interest - eg. in Galway make a point of going to the Aran islands and seeing Dun Aengus (it's pretty stunning), when in Killarney be sure to walk around the lakes and try to do the Ring of Kerry, etc.
(vii) depending on how long you plan to stay buy a pet - preferably a dog. You'll have to bring it for walks but you will get out and about and meet new people doing so
(viii) book yourself some motorcycle lessons (pm me and I'll happily recommend a couple of instructors) - trust me you will not be bored! On the topic the movie 'TT3D: Closer to the Edge' has just been released and would highly recommend that anyone reading this goes for a look.
(ix) eh, running out ideas ...
(x) ... still kinda stumped ...
(xi) ... well, here's an idea ...
(xii) marry me! Trust me you'll never be bored again.
Do hope the above has been of some help (especially suggestion (xii)!). Let me know how you get on, ok?
hd.
Has that film Insidious started yet? Looks like a proper fright fest.
