There is an abundance of escorts around of late who are around the mid-40 age bracket.

I'm curious as to whether these Escorts have a 'retirement' age in mind?

I think no matter how hot she might look, if I saw 50-something on her profile I would be put off meeting her.

40s is ok - 50s seems wrong!

Ladies of a certain age are very attractive to some. So they just move into the GILF market, oh short sighted one.

There's a market for every type of lady, the question really would be does Ireland have a big enough market for them? Besides, i've seen 1 or 2 ladies in their 50's down as 40 ;)

I know I know 'eye of the beholder' etc.

But I think once the lady has crossed the threshold into her 50s that she is instantly on her way to her 60s and not just finished her 40s!

I think women 50-plus deserve to be treated with respect (not that all women don't) but a respect that is demanded by her age.
Continuing as an Escort at that stage just flies in the face of that seniority, for me.

Being 42 I can`t wait to reach my 50`s as was reading an article lately of how 50 is the new 25... it was about how women in their 50`s have a more get up and go than them who are 25... as for a market for escorts over 40 I must admitt when I was in my 20`s I would never have thought of escorting... for many reason`s.. I think it's up to the escort and client involved. It's their choice. it will prob become much more common to for there to more escorts >50 cos people in general are living longer. Fair play to em I say!

Oh come on this is so simple.
If the lady wants to escort till she's 50 , 60 or 70 then she's entitled to.
If the punter isn't into the older lady then he dosen't have to go.
I myself love the older woman and often feel the need for a nice mature lady. Just like sometimes i get the urge for a blonde or brunette or black lady.

Have to agree with this one hundred percent.

Actual age is irrelevant until the escort cannot make a reasonable living.

I too love the assurance that a mature lady can bring.
