Actually today is Germany's national day/ day of reunification - so I went with a colleague straight after work to the Oktoberfest for eating and getting hammered. was surprised today to find out that the Irish celebrate the same day potatoes - but this is suitable as potatoes are as well a stable in German "cuisine". :D
