Heard that earlier and I'm still trying to comprehend the scene. Ghastly.
Apparently it was a young foreign national vagrant just released from a local mental hospital.

I suppose when something like this happens in our world we are all shocked, but remember this is happening all over the world everyday, thousands of people slaughetered and butchered. This one incident probably shocks us more than the thousands of
people who were killed and mutilated in a similar manner in places like Rwanda just because it happened in our perceived civilized

We tend not to identify to much with some countries or race of people. Not that we think less of them, its a survival instinct
But when some one of Irish/Britsh nationality gets murdered in this way we identify with them more because it reminds us of ourselves.
We are more likley to feel things for people who remind us of oursellves.
We covet the in group and dismiss the out groups that we are apart of
