Why does Germany encourage prostitution

Are there loads of trafficked working there? I thought that the FKK clubs were well organised and safe.

Keeps the men occupied and stops them trying to take over the world again and starting ww3.

Germany acknowledges the existance of "prostitution"-the socalled oldest profession.
Ireland buries its head in the sand and sees (and sometimes imagines)only trafficked women,desperate,downtrodden women and dissolute clients.

Because they know they cant stop something which is unstoppable, so they decided get the best out of it, make it organised and same time make a profit on it as well.
Girls need to register 1st in the police station, the interview is alone so they can screen who is trafficked and who is working on free will.
They also visit the houses/clubs time to time and check the paperwork of the girls, make sure all girls are registered and pay their taxes. Well done.

Austria is similar,but an escort not following the rules can face a fine of €5,000(eg rules such as regular mandatory sti screening,only working in approved houses in certain areas,annual T.B. screening etc..

Germans know their history and they know what happens when a government uses moral outrage to demonise and then punish a minority. When they decided that they should have laws to minimise the harm caused by prostitution, the government was never going to go after sex workers or their clients so they had to find a better way.

Also Switzerland and greece

Well because they,re smart and any other country who legalise it aswell,lets face it no laws are going to stop it so if you can,t beat them join them !!
It should be a registered business like an other business in this country, pay their taxes , get a morgage, buy a house and be a respected person like everybody else in this country, ffs double standards here
If I work in the building trade at hard labour then I sell my body to do very hard manual work for a lot less pay and more pain, I wonder who,s the pimp then !!!
