PL on a Friday night

Anybody know what the story is? Utd v Villa tonight, is this going to become the new norm or are they just adjusting for any international games?

Just found out myself, the police moved the fixture forward so as not to clash with the English Defence League march tomorrow. United won the game one- nil.

Good idea for armchair viewers, more football on tv the better. Not great for travelling fans(diff for us going over as we usually need to stay anyway) as means more nighttime games and having to maybe travel home in a bus all night.

Other major leagues do it and I don't see any English teams really challenging for champs league so having a league game a day earlier in lead upto CL match could help teams progress.
