An Adjustment to Centimeters.

In addition to changing the review system, you may want to adjust one small thing on the profiles-the height-to include centimeters. After have nearly scared two gentlemen to death today, in Cork. They walked in and after having been greeted:cool: by this Amazon, which I don't think they were expecting. I could tell that something was disturbing them, and as I walked closer and their color became whiter and whiter, I concluded it was my height. I asked the second one, 'what part of 6ft was unclear?' Where he then proceeded to babble incoherently and make a run for the door. So, just something else to add to your already overburdened work load.

FlyPan Baby, that is 6ft in my bare feet, 6'3" or 6'4" with one of the various pairs of boots I choose the wear. I mean I can appreciate why there may have been some shock. When someone that large answers the door, you will start to wonder who is going to be doing the screwing here? So, now I answer the door in stocking feet, and I stoop!:D

6 is tall for a woman though.Some guys feel a bit uncomfortable talking to a woman inches taller than them.They feel intimidated or dominated.They loose their masculanity.....in their own minds.
My cous is 6-2 in her bare feet and it can be funny seeing her talking to guys well below her until she is with her hubby 6-8 in his bare feet .hahhaha I met his fly first.
Some guys prefer women a few inches shorter and that includes escorts.

I think what I am bothered about isn't my height, I love being tall, and wouldn't change it for a moment. What has my hide chapped is the fact they don't bother to scroll down and read the stats. I know, I know that some profiles are taking the piss, but to assume when I have 6ft written, it is the new 5'5" well, the poor leperchon is in for a shock ain't he.:D

I find some tall women a turn on, might be calling to you V.

Of course I dont want to be with a tall ugly girl either.

that they are looking at their eye to the top of the others head.In other words they are adding the differance of their eye to the top of their head to the others persons height.

Im 5-8, your 6-0.If i look at the top of your height im forgetting about 3" of my own height.To get a true estimation of your height i would have to look you at eye level.

I fully agree with Violete about giving height in centemetres, a lot of the eastern european girls are totally underestimating their heights. Tall is sexy and I cant wait to meet Violette when she is in Dublin. What are you in centremetres?

Don't panic Violett... I get the same... I'm 178cm, which is just a little over 5'10".. Numerous guys went to me,"gosh you are tall!" . Then I just go it does say on there I'm this tall, plus It's the heals too... " then most of the time I quickly dispose of my high heals, so they don't feel that intimidated.
I think it is different to read it, then "face" the reality for some guys... :rolleyes:

I think I'll just have to live with it till I die and go to heaven as a naughty, tall angel angels20 , I can already see the respect in heaven, from all the short people!, as I can look down over their heads, without tiptoeing.... :D

Hi Violette,

I think you are right. We will have to come up with a way to display height in CM and INCHES on the profiles, and also a way to let advertisers specify their height in CM instead of INCHES at the time of sign up. Same logic applies to measurements too I expect so we will fix that also.
