A thought i just had - LA.

Do you know (from what i was told from someone who lived there) that in Los Angeles you can ski and play with snow in the high hills, swim at the beach all in the same day.

from what i hear you can ski in dublin or galway and go to the fecking beach in cork (ye jammy bastards) so why go to L.A.?

you sure can, the Snow Valley Ski Resort is about 1.75 hours drive from the centre of LA. Just had a look at the temp in the downtown area and it's 21C today.
