All week I have been trying to remember what your writing reminds me of. Kaftka. I remembered :)
I just don't bother chatting up girls anymore. I see escorts instead. We both know sex is on the menu and inevitably end up having a good chat. As opposed to talking nonsense and not having sex (with girls in the real world).
I am happy in my fantasy world. Please don't burst my bubble. Have to run - have a lovely lady to see - and we always have great chats (after the sex that is:))
But its true. Warmcome's posts have a haunting, poetic quality.
I like them.
Keep it up man!
i know what morpheus is saying, i've practiced that
for a while. blokes aren't merely sex objects though.
frought with challenge, peril and risk, relating to non-escorts is fun too! :)
"You need not leave your room. Remain
sitting at your table and listen. You need
not even listen, simply wait, You need not even wait
just learn to become quiet, and still, and solitary. The world
will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice; it will roll in ecstasy
at your feet."
Franz Kafka, (clearly in good form)
i think it has and it hasn't. in one way it takes away the fear of rejection and release alot of tension in chatting up strangers. What fear have you of rejection when you know sex and an acceptance of sorts is only a phone call away? Though I do still get the neurotic doubts when I do pull but i kinda hope those never go away. What's life without a few jitters. Contentment is stagnation.
oh and I used enjoy some erasmus myself. In praise of folly seemed to date well. I'm afraid Kafka was beyond me but maybe I should give him another go. but My favourite summation of philosophic works has to be YouTube - Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl - Philospher's Song
