Anyone know some real good restaurants in Tallaght?

Ok lads i'm taking a bird out for a bite to eat in Tallaght tomorrow night (well tonight, Friday). I've seen a few places on the internet and they look good, she said she's not fussed on where we go but i'd love to get a really nice spot. I don't like Chinese/Asian/Indian Restaurants or any of that, i suggested The Blazing Grill Steakhouse, i've seen it before but never been in it, but it looks great and the prices are way up there with something you'd expect to find in a 10 star hotel:D, apart from the name which i suppose doesn't sound good. Also i haven't got a big budget either and i would like to get a great spot that looks and does the job and is value for money aswell. Maybe a restaurant in a hotel, something like that? I kind of want something romantic i must admit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies and gents:biggthumpup:

HERE is a list of restaurants in Tallaght, but I have to ask why limit yourself to Tallaght? To be honest it's not the first place I'd think to bring someone for a meal.

Surely if you go a little further, even to Terenure you'd get a much better selection.

I didnt realize they HAD restaurants in Tallaght.....

Very bad service in the blazing grill mate been there twice and both times service was crap. In saying that food was great.

Joels used to be the go to spot, not anymore though. Travellers, not the touristy kind, from all over Ireland go there now.

Thanks for all the replies and advice gents. First of all just to let you know, won't be going out tonight as something came up so it is postponed until maybe some time next week hopefully.

LoveTheGirls, cheers for your advice about the Blazing Grill. Shame that it's not as good as it looks. I will not choose there then.
KeenanEd, she suggested Tamara as it happens, i know where it is and it looks lovely, but i am not a fan of Chinese food, but anyway she told me to pick a place and that she is not fussy. All women say that don't they:D
Monster Monster, the reason i chose Tallaght is because she is from there, i did choose a a few nice places in the city centre but she wouldn't have been able to stay for long if she came into town thats why we moved the location of it for Tallaght, so we would have more time. But Terenure does have some good spots, i will try twist her arm into that instead. Terenure is a good spot. By the way she is not your typical AJH Tallafornian type (AJH = AH JAYSUS HOW'YA!!). This girl is a diamond.

Its funny mate . I was just talking to a friend of mine who was in the blazing grill last night and told me the service had greatly improved since we were there last time. As i said the food is great so might be worth a go next week.

When I was in Tallaght I been on Eddy Rocket maybe its'nt restaurant but food special health salads the best like Ceasar or hystack tasty
