ewank.com premium text scam

Did anyone know that mobile web pages can charge your phone accounnt without your consent.

I followed a link to ewank.com. Got a big splash screen that just says ENTER with some small print, no other option given.
I then got an expensive premium text message. I don't know how they even got my number?

I looked this up on line and it hard to get a refund because when you clicked enter you have agreed to their terms and conditions.
