Do you think this will be the downfall of one of United's greatest players, will he fall from grace much like Woods and have his career tarnished now for his cheating!!
I have a feeling one or two more will probably come out now in the next few weeks but the worst of it...he younger brothers wife??!!!

The big difference between Giggs and Best is that Giggs really couldnt have achieved much more in his career (international

I suppose if u really want a glaring contrast as to how 2 players will be remembered u will only have to compare Scholes and
Giggs,both having soldiered together. Scholes retired with no fuss and great admiration from fellow players (apparently 5
Barcelona players wanted his shirt). He was very dignified now is on the coaching staff and will be a real role model for the
up and coming players. No matter what Giggs has achieved his reputation is tarnished and i dont think there will be much
support or sympathy coming from his family -

I think giggs public image has been completely destroyed by the latest stories,it was bad enough he cheated on his wife but to heat with hs sister in-law is a low blow and has surely ended any realationship with his brother.I heard today that the child his brother had with his wife may actually be giggs son..

Giggs will always be a football great. I don't think his 'indisgressions' will diminish his standing among his fellow sportsmen (given that they're all probably at it too!). It's also lucky that he's at the tail end of his career i.e. made his money and will probably retire soon. I have no doubt it has damaged his public image but I think he will always be remembered well in sporting circles.
The media are vultures feeding off the lives of the famous. I'm not condoning his actions but who are any of us on this forum to judge him??
I'm already a punter (which in my book translates lying, cheating bastard!:p) - if I was as fit as Giggsy and had his money, goodness knows what I'd do!!
He follows in the line of other famous men - Rooney, Tiger, Bill Clinton, Bellusconi...etc..Fame and money obviously are major risk factors for making men think with their small heads rather than their big heads (to quote the signature of my pal Franken). -
