Casual Encounters Do they work ?

I'm thinking about signing up to an adult dating/meeting service.
Two questions. Should I? Is it worth it?
If the answer to these questions is a yes, what is the story about buying credit cards with the credit already on board so that she indoors does not spot anything?

Okay, I have been on various sites in the past looking for casual encounters, and have met several women from them. To be honest, it's a bit of a lottery as more often than not, you end up talking to someone for days or even weeks, and when it comes down to the crunch, they ask you to fill in a 'verification form' which is essentially a webcam site that you have to pay for. They tell you that they have 'activation codes' to bypass the payment, and are usually abusive when you decline their proposals.

We do not want to name any sites in particular, but I feel that considering what I paid over a couple of months for a couple of one off encounters, it seemed a waste of time and effort. I'm sure others have had better experiences, but I wouldn't recommend them personally.

I was on a well-known free site for a while. I talked with loadsa women. Was fun. Three times I arranged to meet . Travelled a wee bit and was stood up twice. Once I met yer wan......we did the nasty and had a blast a few times again after that. So overall was an ok experience. Dunno if Id bother again tho.

I used two particular sites for the last couple of years and eventhough i dont frequent them anymore ,i still found them ok . As Samlad says it can be a lot of hard work for little reward . On the other hand i met alot of nice genuine people there and had some fantastic encounters . So its up to yourself but be prepared for hard work ,its not going to fall into yer lap.

Like I say, it can be a bit of a lottery, but it's there if anyone wishes to look at it.

I was on a few adult websites before.
Women are clearly a minority there. From this small percentage deduct:

- profiles that haven't been on for a very long time
- duplicates
- fake profiles (men posing as women :confused:)

What is left is really a handful of female profiles. Each, being subject to lots of mails, every day.
A sexier photo, or a sexier add will bring in sometimes hundreds more mails.

Any guy there has a chance to meet someone in real life if:

- He's got a few profile photos that are realistic. No dick pictures, they are considered tacky even by the most open minded females there. Also, it makes it kind of funny to reply to an email from a ... well, from a dick :D If you really want to show your pride and joy, make sure you have a few normal photos and the dick is not the main one. If the site allows it, put it as private gallery, to be seen only by friends or paid members etc ... whatever the rules on that site are.
- When contacting females, don't send stupid one liners: "hi", "how are you", "you wanna meet", "you're so sexy" etc ... Send something that has a beginning, a middle and an end, lol. But don't go over the top either, telling random strangers your life story and your entire views on adult relationships.
- Try to be original, without forcing that. Remember that any attractive woman there receives lots of mails. Surely she will not answer to all of them, so try to stand out with an interesting title and content.
- Even if it is an adult site, try not to be very obscene. Most women there are just trying it out, and they can be put off by using lots of strong language.
- Be aware of scammers. It does happen once in a while that a sexy angel from an adult site is not a sexy angel at all. Paying for sex works only with people working in the sex industry (like escorts for example :)). Anybody else ... forget it.
- If the site offers a vetting system, take it. But if this is not reliable or very expensive, after exchanging a few mails with someone, try to get the person to talk on your yahoo or hotmail messenger, where the conversation is much easier, all is free and you can even see the person on the webcam. Alternatively, some of those sites offer free webcam after paying for membership. They are slower but still OK to use.
- Do not push for a date. If she pushes for one, fine, go for it. But if she likes to take her time to know you, give her this time. However, if a few weeks are passed and she is not getting any closer to accept to meet in person, try to "close the sale" yourself, this if you are not exactly looking for a penpal. If she still says no and comes up with excuses, better forget it. She either has something to hide (i.e. her pictures are fake), either she is just using you for company while the husband is out ... lol.


As you can see, there are lots of factors to be considered.

And anyhow ... don't forget that visiting an escort is the quickest and more efficient way to have great sex with a woman you don't know ;)

Real casual encounters can be fun but unless your a total waster or a dam ugly dude I think you'd have better luck in the local pub than on one of these dating sites. The sites are there to generate revenue for the owners so the contact info. is not free and lets face it most of the profiles are male and they will be online just to jerk.

Girls dont hang around these sites for encounters.

Thanks to everyone who replied and particularly to an Don who was very helpful. The idea for me is to have a biot of discreet fun. Being married, going to the pub can be a bit dodgy. I like to think that there there women as horny as I am who like to have a good NSA experience.. am i way off the mark?? Dunno
