All these cuts that they are proposing will only lead to half of the projected savings because its mostly consumer spending that these cuts will hit.I wonder have the gov factored this point into their projected savings?

Where the budget is going bad is cutting public service workers who earn just 30,000 a year by 5% is just disgusting. 7.5% and 10% are really fair cuts but why stop there why not look at all the allowences higher earners get to enjoy. There needs to be a complete over haul of the public service a radical reform. In my situation I am paid my full salary for the year while I attend college which is also subsidised because is an investment I guess. Private companies do it too of course. But this one example of waste that could be changed.
Let the social revolution begin.
Jobseekers allowence for young people 19 - 20 year olds to 100e. Its jobseekers allowence why would they need this much money.
A bus pass for a month 100e.
Black ink for CV'S 14e a cartridge.
Paper 5e for 500

As for rates even talking about a cut is ridiculous thanks to germany and france they will go up. Which makes people who are unemployed using that money to service mortages that cut of 4.1% will be made worse.
