Did you edit your post after making it by any chance?

Ok, I've got back to Sarah and Sarah will make final decision now (I'm leaving it to her as I think she knows the advertisers better than me and so is better placed to rule on these individual cases).

The problem Sarah met with when initially looking at this and reason she contacted me is receptionists.

At the moment at there are a lot of escort receptionist services available.

And at least several well known independent ladies are using receptionists currently.

Then of course there are also agencies pretending to be independents.

The problem is - The new excuse we are getting from these agencies is that they are simply independents using a receptionist service, and seeing as we are letting others do that how can we persecute them for it?

For the moment, I've told Sarah to rule as per her own best educated opinion, but it is difficult for her to do this without people saying she has been unfair to either escorts or clients.

I think it would be easier for us if ladies didn't use receptionists, but is it fair for us to say we refuse to consider independents using receptionists as independent, because it is not easy for us to distinguish between them and agencies?

That is a question we will have to consider now.

Its very easy to tell the difference between a independent using a receptionist and a agency trying to come across as independent. Firstly, the client will know when he visits the escort if she's working alone or not. A agency also usually has a few numbers on the go.

I am 100% independent and I have a receptionist. I take my own calls when I am not working or when I am only working for two or three hours. If I am touring or work a full day it is essential that I have my phone diverted to my receptionist then as I can not work and take calls at the same time while seeing clients all day usually with only a short period of time between each one to wash etc. I myself call the client closer to the time to give directions etc.
My receptionist is polite on the phone and handles all of my appointments well. If the client would like to talk to me personally they usually text me and I call them when I can.
In my opinion it is essential for a busy escort to have a receptionist.

We will focus on independent profiles more to make sure they are truly independent.

I think that the policy should be , one escort, one profile, one phone. It does not matter if a receptionist answers, provided she is answering that escorts phone only on behalf of that escort. The difference for me is that an agency will try selling you different girls if the one advertised is not available. For this reason, I think that it is important that both profiles and photos be reasonably accurate. E-I should have a database of escort phone numbers if they do not already have it.
