Call-Girl or Escort?

Hi, just wondered why we use the term escort baring in mind that for the most part the girls only occasionally accompany punters out to dinner or a social function. Is call-girl not a more accurate description of what most punters experience.:)

Escort is so much more classy a term, and indeed the fine ladies the practice it here are classy indeed.

Escort is neutral term, that isn't offensive to anyone.
