I just don't understand the mentality of some people.

I'm in work and the phone rings. I answer it and say "hello". There is a pause and then a woman on the other end says in a somewhat mumbled fashion - "sorry, you caught me with my mouth full"

What the feck? She rang me - did she not think that when you ring someone you might have to speak to them when they answer the phone? :confused:

I think she assumed that she would be on hold for an hour.

It may be that they are indeed mental,,,or perhaps they believe that you are mental
