Yes yes yes, after 2 (or is it 3?) long days I'm back behind the news desk to report slightly interesting things from around the world. There was no late night or early morning reports for the past few days due to public relations issues between the E-I newsroom and myself.
Our top headlines this morning: flying Coca Cola bottle KO's camera man; Celtic FC actually manage to win a trophy; and finally, the world has ended... wait a minute.....
First this morning, 2 American eejits who attempted to recreate an apparent infamous Coca Cola & Mentos experiment (infamous my arse) got walloped by a jizzing Coca Cola... Oh twas actually just the camera man that got smacked. Hmm, so to summarise: coke bottle gets too excited after having intimate reactions with a mint, the power of its' jizz was so high that it launched into the air and basically pwned a camera man... Moving on, Celtic FC have miraculously managed to get a trophy in this year's SPL. A 3-0 victory over Motherwell secured them the Scottish Cup. Ok for a league that in reality has only 2 clubs... not much of an achievement. But congrats to them and to their fans. Let's face it though... Coming second in a 2 horse race is hardly something to be happy about...
And finally tonight, we are all still alive (at least for now) despite claims by some American (yes I'm dealing with the yanks again) preacher that the world was gonna be hit with a series of massive earthquakes and kill all but 200 million of us... Hmm not much to say on this, except:
