Well the way I see it, if a weekend starts on a Friday then the end of a Thursday runs into the beginning of a Friday so when work finishes on a Thursday I am on the run into the weekend so it begins on a Thursday and I go for a couple of pints on a Thursday night to celebrate the beginning of the weekend :D
