I take your point Conrad, but most immigrants are here to make money and/or to improve the quality/standard of their lives (escorts included). It's a long shot to imagine that Serbs are going to try to re-fight their conflict with ethic Croats or Bosnian/Herzegovinian muslims on Irish soil. You don't see this amongst other peoples who have been in conflict in the past. Immigrants generally try to keep their bibs clean, so that they can stay in the place.

From talking to escorts who advertise a different nationality, the reason given for doing this, has often been, that they want to avoid clients from back home who may know them or their relations and friends. Also, if a client rings to make a booking and they recognise from his accent, that he is a countryman of theirs, they will make some excuse to refuse the booking.

I assume that because most of their families dont know what they are really working act over here, escorts are wary of the potential for blackmail.
