I tried it, many others tried it, it worked every time. In fact it appeared that if you added your age to the year you were born, the last 2 digits of the answer equalled the last 2 digits of the year you were doing the calculation in!!

And it reminded me of a prophecy of my old Uncle Mick. "The day will come when an angel will reveal the ancient mystery of the magic number 11 and you must confront her in a battle for evil vs good - then we gonna see some serious shit going down".

Uncle Mick had just returned from spending some years in Harlem in New York and had soaked up the accent and vernacular of the day and region.

The year was 1977, the date June 6th, my birthday. What age you at boy? 11 I replied. Shit, that means you born in 66. June 66. That's 6/66. That's some fucked up shit right there! And I was born on the 6th I said excitedly! Never mind that he said, we good with the 666 shit already. And I was born at 7:06am! That dont mean nothin he said. I said , yes it does, it's like 6:66. His reply? Shit, that's just fucked up. That's when he made the prophecy regarding the magic number, 11.

And over the years, this number keeps cropping up in major world events:

The D-Day (Operation Overlord) was originally planned for June 5th, 05/06. Add 5 and 6? Yes, this date was chosen by the shadow government for luck. But what happened? A freak weather event meant postponing the invasion. The shadowy figures behind the planning were going to postpone the invasion altogether. If they had, Ireland would be ruled by Germans today. And that would be unimaginable, sort of. Ok I know we kind of are, but technically we're not. But then one of the generals pointed out, if we invade tomorrow, it will be 6/6. if you subtract the year, 44 from 66, you get 22. If you divide that by the number of super powers included in the invasion, 2, you get 11! D-Day was back on. The rest is history as were the preceding bits.

Let's look at other significant events where the number 11 is mysteriously at the core.

The Kennedy assasination - November, Month 11, 22nd (a multiple of 11 - divide 11 into 22, you get 2, add 2 to 6 and 3 (the year was 1963), you get 11.

Jesus was 33 when died. If you add his age to his year of birth, you get 33. How many gods in the one god? (depending on where you were born and who your mother is) 3! Divide 33 by 3? 11.

9/11 - the twin towers, they even look like 11. but 3 towers actually came down, 3 into 9 = 3 (the holy trinity again). Multiply 3 by 11=33, the year of Jesus death and bizarrely, his age at the time!

9/11 this year (or 11/9 if you're from these parts) will be the 10th anniversary of 9/11. This happened in 2001. Add 10 to 01, you get 11.

And then I saw this post by 'Mature Abby' and the old propecy came back to me. And I thought there is something strange about this name. Perhaps this post can lead to the answer that will solve the ancient mystery of the number 11. But I couldn't solve it.

Last night, the late English comedian and presenter of hit game show, 3-2-1, Ted Rogers, appeared to me in a dream.* I can remember his words clearly today.

"Mature Abby, 10 letters, not 11, but could it mean 'old abbey'? Could an ancient monastery hold the key to the big prize? What age is she on her profile, 44. She has admitted she is 46. Is she still holding out on the truth, is she in fact 47? 4+7=11. Abby is an escort, she is mature, a nice way of saying a little on the old side, but still looks great in fishnet! It's the oldest profession in the world. Who was the first escort you ever heard of in history? Name also begins with Ma..."

The dream ended as i awoke screaming.. 'Magdalene - Mary fucking Magdalene!!'.

No, but he did brew his own wine and beer in the attic, which was quite popular at the end of the 70's. The wine, if I recall, had unsubtle tones of rancid piss.
