To anyone who's been punting in the area and knows of the place where the ladies have been staying, be careful.
I heard from a friend who works in a pub frequented by guards that they used a website to setup a date with one of the girls and emptied the place out, they claimed to have found 8 girls in total.
This happened last night. It's kinda worrisome, I don't know the legalities of punting and have been there a few times. The last time was just last week and it would of been really embarrassing to have a cop come in during the act.
In fact I rang some ladies just today, prior to hearing this news, but their phones are off.
Hopefully someone who works there or is involved will see this thread and can update me on what's happened.

so, the drug and nacker problems in offally are finally over. And the underage drinking and the kids selling cigarettes at the local mart and the illegal cigarette trade, that's all finished and dealth with by the guards? Wonderful. Now they have time to focus their attention on the escorts, because as we all know, escorts , NOT nackers or underage scumbags are the real terrorists of our society. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Either way the gardai did nothing to stop them escorting, their profiles came up a few days after it happened in different counties. -

I didn't see anything mentioned in the local paper either.
It's all pretty circumstantial at the moment, though I wouldn't see why my friend would lie about it. He doesn't use or have any interest in escorts and doesn't know that I do.
I was hoping one of the girls who was working in the area that week would of seen this thread and replied. -

Hi all,
having been an silent visitor to this site for a few years now i have finally decided to register as this is an issue i feel strongly about.
i would agree with the sentiments expressed by some that the gardai should have better things to do rather than raiding escorts since other more serious crimes are on the rise.
however i think joe kelly has a point, more and more i find when you call various "independent" escorts in the same area you are directed to the same apt or house by the same voice at the end of the phone each time, then when you go there the girl you meet has little or no english and there are signs of more girls working there.
when this happens i walk away on principal as i find it dishonest and misleading to have a conversation with somebody on the phone about services etc and then arrive to meet someone else who doesn't speak english. also there is the doubt raised about potential trafficking as well. maybe the gardai should be looking in to this.
has anyone had any similar experiences or any views on this?
