Welcome all to the Escort Ireland Hall of Fame. It was back in August 2008 that the first monthly competition began. Since then the competition has gone from strength to strength. Here are the winners from Sept 2008 - Nov 2008.

Mature Abby is the only mature lady to win the competition to date and was very proud of her accomplishment at the time. However this was the first and only public poll that didn't grab many voters attention and had the worst turnout. It was still an unofficialy recognised competition. Alyssa Jenkins Miss October E-I 2008 (Memories of Alyssa, Escort Reviews of Alyssa, Irish escort from Escort Ireland
Nationality; New Zealander

Alyssa was the second girl to be awarded this title. At this point rules were created to make the competition more transparent and fair. Instead of nominations the girls were selected for public voting by the number of positive reviews they generated. Gemma was the first girl to be awarded the title. At the time it was an unofficial title. There were no rules or guidlines so everything was put together quickly. Members were asked to nominate Escorts that would be placed in a poll and then voted for. Gemma was very popular at the time and only 18 years old. No offence man, but seriously - a competition running for 7 months (since last August) that has generated a TOTAL of 89 votes can hardly be deemed as going from strength to strength!

Nor, in my opinion, does it necessitate a 3-thread 'review' recapping the winners of said disastrous competition!

Just an opinion Ric - but maybe you'd be best served putting this kind of effort into something with a decent following?
Maybe even something that could generate money??!! - because your commitment is unquestionable.

1. Polls around here don't get anymore than 12-15 votes anyway. The competition polls were only open for 24hr periods. Most other polls here run for days/weeks or months and they they don't attract much votes.

2. I strongly disagree with it being disastrous. Its certainly not a negative thing and its free advertising for escorts which help towards building and maintaining good proffessional reputations. I've never met an escort that hated the thread because it made her look good and drew attention to her proffessionalism.

3. I posted this in three threads because posts on this site can only take 4 pics. I tried to fit it all in one post with 10 pics but the posts here can't do that. Also I was running out of space on monthly blog posts with the ever growing Hall of Fame section. So It became clear that I needed a seperate Hall of Fame Blog. So I decided to post the blogs here in general chat anyway because its positive and I like to give all the info to everyone here.

4. It has a strong following. A lot of posters check out the bolgs. I've only noticed this while modding the amount of times the blogs are looked at. I think its great for newbies as they above everybody else should be shown the girls that are good at their job. I hate to see people ripped-off and these escorts are clearly showing through their reviews and popularity that they don't rip you off.

5. I wouldn't be doing this competition if it wasn't for all the support I get through PMs from newbies, regular posters, escorts and Patricia. Patricia is now dishing out FREE advertising to ladies that win this competition. Its great. Its the only thing here on the site that gives back. That can't be deemed as a bad thing.

6. I am more than well aware that there are flaws with it. So I'm open to suggestions from all. I want to make it better. I'm also looking into doing something special for its first anniversary in August. Something that everyone can enjoy.

i would agree with all your points ric :) personally i think the site is richer all round because of it. so it is valuable.

and, like modding, its not a static thing, it can be improved through critisism and suggestions from members of the forum.

The only thing I would point out is that it was revealed during the LIST saga that Abby had cheated to win so perhaps you should as happens to all cheats remove her from your hall of fame.

That was only a rumour which was forwarded on to me. I looked into it and no proof could be found. It was only hearsay and gossip. Total nonsense.

There may have been infighting which caused that rumour to surface. No one could actually say they were present when it was said by Abby that she had former clients write reviews for herself to win. It was all Bull.:mad:

Its very easy to cause a nasty rumour like that. Thats one of the issues I'd like to clear up.
