I think the street prostitutes are dying down,, would ye agree??
Totally agree to
Yes, I don't think it is necessay any more
Having website Like Escort Ireland i dont think so is any point to take a risk with Street Walkers... Is just point less and recless...
I think it's around 12% of the total population of sex workers in Ireland, or estimated at.
Would say it is very dangerous as well
I completely agree
It's too dangerous nowadays
Does it still even go on?? Why would you???
I would imagine it depends on circumstances. This directory relies on paying for adverts. If they don't have the cash in the first place, then it's not going to be easy getting work via here. Also can they afford to work in doors? Do they feel safe working in doors? Are they just trying to earn a bit of extra cash to get by rather than work full time?
I expect there will always be street workers, but greatly reduced, as many are coming at it from different angles and with different needs and starting points.
Why stay in cold and unsafe streets in 21st century?
It is very dangerous at this time
too cold this weather, you'd catch your death
I dont think soo.
My first experience with a street worker was in cork city 30 years ago in an Artic Truck
just bringing it all back. I used to park in Dublin on _________ back then if I was staying
overnight in Dublin and there were lots of them hanging around there but they were not to pleasing on
the eye to a young 20 year old and I never entertained one but they often used to bang on the
door of the trucks parked up for the night looking for business.
I agree completely, but they are usually cheaper and guys with little cash will go for them, even if it means taking a risk!!!!! They will always be there
This is interesting
As a punter there was a adrenel rush meeting street workers back in the day. I found it exciting but risky too. Now I visit escorts indoors.
So there shouldn't be any correct?
Very unsafe really.
Back in the 90's, I used live and work near the Pepper Canister, I used to love to walk the canal even when I didn't have the price of a punt on me.
Some girls were very popular, might show up, see 2 to 3 clients an hour and they were gone within 2 hours. Other girls hung around for hours, barely seeing a client. Had a lot to do with level of service, as prices were generally the same and very little to do with looks, as some of the most popular girls were ugly as the come.
I used to hear stories about the girls working around there and wonder why I never saw them. Then one day I saw a girl and I thought she was hitching. I stopped and she asked me was I doing business and suddenly my eyes were opened. Once I saw one I realised how many used to work there, and I availed of the services for several years. It was an enjoyable time. I liked that you could see what was on offer and then drive around a few times thinking of what was going to happen before making contact. It is different now but I miss those times!
Had to work late one evening last week. Drove up through a well known square and saw three ladies standing at the junction of that square and another road. I didn’t realise that there was still a street scene in Dublin. Tbh none of them were lookers and it was still relatively bright so I was a bit taken aback.
I too remember the “good old days” when there was an abundance of girls walking those streets. I had many a good encounter with some of them although my efforts to stay under the radar were hampered as I was driving a truck.
I used keep an eye out for the randomers, ladies that only worked when they needed a few extra pound, Christmas, school uniforms or a holiday to pay for. They would appear on the edges of the area and maybe walk through if there were no girls about. Took balls of steel to approach them unless you already saw them getting into a car.
I actually once attended the wedding of one such lady, I was invited as a +1. Luckily she never recognised me with my suit on.
Everythingz moved to the Internet.
The local ladies who used to ply their trade in Dublin most certainly aren't gone on line. It seems that part of the game is indeed gone. Perhaps there's no demand for it either but this thread suggests there's no supply anyway.
Pretty sure it's still going on due to evil fuckers still enforcing it
Not safe anymore...for them or us!
Can you approach a street worker without a car?. I imagine not lol.
Have to move with the times on-line shopping
it needs regulation like in England, everyone person should have that right
