a toffee legend will be sadly missed, pity he never got a good shot at european cup or champions league as it is now coz of the ban on english clubs reckon there was a couple of titles in that team..rip howard
Sorry to hear this news..he was a good manager and came across as a decent man.RIP.
I am an Arsenal fan. Growing up I remember he was a big character in the football league. It always came accross he loved the game at a time where players got paid well. Better than most people. Nothing like players and managers get now. R.I.P Howard Kendall
A Brilliant manager who ,in my humble opinion, would have won the European Cup with that Everton team in the Mid 80's only for the Ban on English teams in Europe, they had at the time the best goalie in the World in Neville Southall ,Kevin Radcliffe & Derek Mountfield in defense,Peter Reid in Midfield ,Kevin Sheedy on the wing to name but a few....and Howard Kendall the brains driving the ship.....God be good to him,RIP.
A fine player in his day too RIP
A great manager and a great player also RIP Howard
