Wealthy Germans make a request to pay more taxes !!

Civilised behaviour....

A great gesture indeed and moraly the right thing to do but what you think the chances of it hapining over here..

with rapid economic growth a culture of greed has emerged here white collar crime & tax evasion is the norm the gap between the contented wealthy & the socially excluded gets wider here every year this country has become a horrendous place to live....

I always thought the Germans were a decent lot:)

Forget the rich paying more taxes here, all we need is for TD's to pay back expenses then make them reciept everything

I think you'll find the problem is bigger than that. In case it escaped your attention, we are borrowing €400 million a week to keep the country afloat. Generous and all as they are, TDs expenses don't come to that!
