Good Article by Jim Cusack on Sex Workers in the Sunday Independent, April 10, 2011.

There was a good article by Jim Cusack in the Sunday Independent talking about sex workers. An escort explained that it is a nonsense to state that all sex workers are victims- it's far from the case.

Someone from Ruhama then complained about this article in a letter spouting their usual propaganda that all men who go to escorts are monsters. Also it's the height of hyprocracy of Ruhama to say that they don't want to outlaw prostitution and at the same time criminalise the buying of sexual favours.

I intend writing a letter into the Sunday Independent to dispute their claims. It would be no harm if others do the same as well. You don't have to have your full address printed in the Indo.

Yes saw that last week, meant to mention it here. Makes a change from the Indo's usual line.

I just got that feeling reading it, like he didn't have to do all that much original research, he seemed pretty au fait with the situation. Just my impression based on the tone of the article. I could be wrong, it would not be the first (or last) time.
