I think Anita makes a good point. Sometimes dodgy people offer escort security services much like sometimes dodgy people offer to rent apartments to escorts. So it is good to be careful in this regard.

Dodgy people as in pimps I suspect. I didn't think Letterkenny would come into an area that would need security. But seeing the influx of escorts I've never heard of in recent months, I suspect those ones aren't independent and are controlled by pimps.

I was thinking about this question to become a security guy. I t would need to be a non local because it would be a bit awkward if he ran into a client who happened to be someone he knew.

Your best option is to use a personal security company. It will most likely be more expensive than you had hoped but you are less likely to have some nutcase thug or even a pimp looking after you, which is the most likely outcome by advertising the post here. My family used one of these companies last year. I will try to find their details and post them later.
