Although these boxes were chained to the till, some swine managed to use cutters to break the chain and ran off with the cash. I was ashamed to tell the organisers who came round to collect the boxes that they had been robbed, and a rather disappointed (but not surprised) elderly gentleman said, "Yes, I understand. Thank you anyway." I felt like I wanted the earth to swallow me up.Quote:
